Upon receipt of your application, we shall arrange for a qualified tutor to phone you, and commence tuition under the following terms and conditions.
1. All school tuitions take place in your own home, and music tuitions in your home or in the tutor’s, at a time mutually suitable to you and the tutor(s).
2. For all tuitions, a payment of €95 is payable to Grinds at Home after one month of lessons. ***Multiple bookings discount - book more than one tuition subject with Grinds at Home within the same academic year to June and you only pay one €95 arrangement fee for all subjects booked***.
3. Tuition can be terminated at any time, without reason, by you, or by the tutor. In such case no further money is owed to the tutor, nor will there any rebate of monies paid.
4. If you have to cancel an arranged tuition, please contact the tutor directly no less than 24 hours before the lesson is due to take place. There is no charge for cancelled tuitions, but if tuitions are frequently cancelled, the tutor will terminate the tuition, with the full consent of Grinds at Home.
5. Please note that Grinds at Home tutors are informed that tuition can only take place in a student’s home when a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult (18 years minimum) is present at the same address. Tuition can only take place in a communal area (i.e. kitchen, dining, or living area). These conditions will be strictly enforced by tutors.
6. Through our registration process, Grinds at Home has taken steps to ensure that tutors are professionally qualified and are of suitable character. However, the final decision to accept the tutor appointed is the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Neither Grinds at Home or Anna Livia Tutors will accept any responsibility for any loss or injury that may be incurred by you or any members of your family or their property, in any matters connected with this tuition.
7. For school grinds, these terms and conditions expire at the end of the academic year. (i.e. in June). Please notify Grinds at Home if you wish school tuitions to continue into the next school year. For music tuitions, these terms and conditions are valid until the end of the agreed tuition period.
